We are currently digitizing VHS tapes, 8mm and 16mm film. If you already have a digitized movies and want to send it, please fill out form №1. If you want to digitize your film and video materials, please fill out form №2.

“My grandmother saved all her family photos during the war, despite the fact that her house burned down. Thanks to this, I was able to see what my grandfather and uncle looked like, who passed away in the forties. That is why I want my descendants and everyone who is interested in the past to also be able to learn about the history of my family”

I am interested in participating in this project, because I have an archive myself and have faced the problem of reliable preservation of a family archive. Unfortunately, at the moment, technologies for both digital and analog information preservation do not guarantee 100% reliability. The existence of a Belarusian bank of private archives gives hope that the Belarusian national memory of the 20th-21st centuries will be preserved”

“My parents did not have a video camera and only hired a cameraman a few times. That is why not much material has survived. Viewing archive videos of other Belarusians allows me to immerse myself in my childhood, thus expanding my knowledge about life, including my family. This is good material for studying history and the fate of people”
