The videos from the collection depict what school classes, or so-called “groups” in kindergartens, looked like. You can also see what children dressed up in, how they behaved in front of the camera. There are also shots of festive, so-called, “sweet” tables, on which one of the elements could be a samovar and there were many different sweets.

The shots from kindergartens are distinguished by a large number of concerts and performances by children. Many poems are read, theatrical skits are played. Music is performed by children, as well as popular songs of that period. Sometimes the words of the songs are changed to local texts, adapted to the original accompaniment.

The same collection includes shots from sports sections and art circles that Belarusian children attended.
